Biography

Chief Karren Kelly

I am Chief Petty Officer Karren Kelly, United States Navy, Retired. Upon retiring from the Navy, my desire to serve was not done so I completed the requirements to earn my permit to teach Naval Science. I joined the Eagle’s Landing High School Naval Science program in 2014. My passion for teaching began while serving our country, teaching various training classes and recruiting students for medical scholarships.

I have earned an Associate of Science in Education from Georgia Military College; Technical Bachelors in Psychology from Charleston Southern University; and a Masters in Management with an emphasis in Human Resource from Troy University.

I continue to use my degrees to inspire students to follow their passion and make a career doing what they love. One of my favorite sayings to students is, “It is not how you found it, but how you leave it"; challenge yourself to LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE and leave a legacy.

I am honored to have had two careers that allowed me to live my best life while inspiring others to do the same.
