I am excited about teaching students new and relevant strategies to strengthen their reading and writing. As we progress through the year, my hopes are that each and every one of my students will learn skills to support post-secondary studies and successful professional careers in the field of their choice. Many skills and concepts taught in the Basic Reading and Writing I and II courses can also be adapted to enhance academic learning in all classes. Finally, I hope to encourage all of my students to become life-long learners and to open their minds to dream.
